FAQ

What is GellyBall?

GellyBall is an ultra low impact sport – suitable for kids age five and up. It uses GellyBall blasters – an easy-to-use gun that doesn’t use much pressure to shoot GellyBalls.  Unlike Nerf – where you have to constantly reload with ammo off the floor, a GellyBall Blaster holds 750 shots without reloading!!! Lots more fun!!!

What ammo does a GellyBall Blaster use?

The GellyBall Blaster shoots GellyBalls!  A GellyBall is like an Orbeez. GellyBalls are teeny tiny absorbent polymer beads that expand into small beads when soaked in water.  They are biodegradable and nontoxic. They will not hurt your pets, plants or grass. Unlike paintballs that explode upon impact, GellyBalls simply bounce off or disintegrate – then they dehydrate!  No stain, no mess!

Does GellyBall hurt?

The GellyBall Blaster uses ultra-low pressure to shoot, so it only feels like a good snap of a rubber band. But you’ll be having so much fun, you won’t even notice!  We suggest wearing long sleeve shirts and pants to limit the exposure to open skin.

Is GellyBall like Nerf?

GellyBall is WAY more fun than Nerf! The only similarity is that you get to shoot ammo.  You aren’t constantly picking ammo up from the ground to reload – the Gel Blaster holds 750 beads!!  And it shoots 10 GellyBalls per second and accurately shoots up to distances of 100 feet!!!!

Will GellyBalls hurt my yard or pets?

GellyBall beads are non-toxic, non-staining, and biodegradable. They are safe for pets, yards, and people! They are water-hydrated and will shrink to a tiny size before disintegrating entirely – no mess, no clean-up!

Is mobile laser tag safe? Child-friendly?

Yes! The weapons don’t shoot an actual laser. Instead, the “laser” guns shoot an invisible beam (signal) to the other guns/equipment signaling a shot or damage. No bodily contact is required or recommended with our equipment.

Where can I have a party?

Our Laser Tag arena is completely mobile and can be set up almost anywhere from a public park, to a school field, and even your own home. If you do decide to have a party in a city park or other public place, be sure to check with your local Department of Parks & Recreation. Will anyone take pictures of our event?

Our crew-members occasionally take pictures and short video clips highlighting the laser tag games. We reserve the right to use photographs or video of the party participants for publicity purposes.

What is your refund and cancellation policy?

Our reservations go quickly. A Non-Refundable deposit of $50.00 is required for all bookings to reserve your date and time.  The full remaining amount of the party will be due on the date of the event prior to set-up. If a conflict should arise and a change of date and/or time needs to be made up until 7 days before the event, accommodations will be considered based on availability at no charge, within three (3) months of the original event date and only once. NO REFUND will be issued in the event of reservation being canceled within 7 days of your event. We will make every effort to postpone your event, with no penalty; to another date should cancellation be necessary.

Can I book additional time on the day of the event?

Additional time may be booked, or an event may be extended, as long as it doesn’t conflict with previously scheduled events. For an additional sixty (60) minutes – $99.

What about bad weather?
In the event of rain or light to moderate wind, we will make every effort to reschedule your party to a day with weather better suited to Laser Tag play…or you can choose to move the party indoors if your venue can support game play.

Should I schedule Laser Tag at the beginning or toward the end of the party?
We suggest that you plan for Laser Tag first…and eat later. This way, guests aren’t running around immediately after eating…and they can work up an appetite while playing!

Do I tip the Game Coach?
The Game Coach is there to make sure that your group is making the most of our high-tech fun. He/she tutors, inspires and entertains. Tipping for service is a great idea, but not required.

What time will you be arriving?
The Game Coach arrives in plenty of time to be setup and start your party at the designated start time. Normally between 60-90 minutes ahead of time.

What do I wear?

We encourage durable and cool clothing as players may get hot. Players must wear socks, and no shoes/sandals are allowed. Your game coach may reserve the right to deny players from participating if their attire is not suitable for playing conditions.
